What a fun read！ If you’ve read any of the PUCKED series you will love reading about Violet’s mom and Miller’s dad。 If you haven’t read PUCKED no worries。 This novella will make you smile throughout and undoubtedly entice you to read PUCKED。 Sidney and Skye are absolutely delightful。 She has no filter and Sidney couldnt love her more。 Skye and Sidney together heat up things quickly！ Violet is so much like her mom （no filter either） but she’s a math nerd and thinks teenage boys are idiots whereas What a fun read！ If you’ve read any of the PUCKED series you will love reading about Violet’s mom and Miller’s dad。 If you haven’t read PUCKED no worries。 This novella will make you smile throughout and undoubtedly entice you to read PUCKED。 Sidney and Skye are absolutely delightful。 She has no filter and Sidney couldnt love her more。 Skye and Sidney together heat up things quickly！ Violet is so much like her mom （no filter either） but she’s a math nerd and thinks teenage boys are idiots whereas Miller is a jock， ladies man， and destined for NHL stardom。 He puts his dad thru “teenage parties hell” and this spills over to Violet and Skye experiencing all the awkwardness。 I loved this story and believe me， you will too。 Helena gives us a steamy romcom novella that will have you laughing out loud right up to the end。 I loved every word but the wedding？ PRICELESS。 Don’t miss this！ 。。。more

I think it's so exciting and adorable to read the parents' love story of a famous character in a series and Helena Hunting did it again！ Where It Begins is hilarious and witty and swoony and oh so beautiful！ Sidney and Skye fell in love hard and fast and it was so funny to read about how they had to go through some entertaining but embarrassing situations with their kids just to make time for each other。 If you loved Pucked series， this is a must read。 And even if you haven't read that series， t I think it's so exciting and adorable to read the parents' love story of a famous character in a series and Helena Hunting did it again！ Where It Begins is hilarious and witty and swoony and oh so beautiful！ Sidney and Skye fell in love hard and fast and it was so funny to read about how they had to go through some entertaining but embarrassing situations with their kids just to make time for each other。 If you loved Pucked series， this is a must read。 And even if you haven't read that series， this is classic Helena Hunting rom com perfection with spice！So confession: I haven't read Pucked series。 I know。。I know。 But I have read next Gen and that's why I know Violet and Randy and Miller。 So it was an exciting story to see how Miller and Violet became stepsiblings！ Sidney has lost his wife early and Skye has been a single mother since her pregnancy as the baby daddy bailed out immediately even when he was a professional hockey player。 They are both dedicated to their kids and their jobs and had little time to date。 But they have an instant attraction when they meet at the coffee shop and decide to give it a chance。 But two teenage kids come with lots of responsibilities and surprises and I was laughing my heart out at those accidents！ Poor Sidney and Skye。。Skye has a no filter sassy personality that is absolutely amazing！ I can see how Violet got her personality！ Skye is independent and smart and the best freaking mother。 Their bond is really something special。 I enjoyed their interactions so much。 Sidney is close to Miller too but he is a teenage guy going to be drafted into professional hockey soon so his issues are a bit different but still。。this father son dynamic was pretty awesome！ Sidney is quiet charming and dynamic。This was a heartwarming romance with zero drama and sometimes that's what you need！ Uninterrupted good time！Ps is it weird to crush over the present heroine's parents？ I don't know。。but it was definitely unique！I reviewed an early copy voluntarily 。。。more

This was everything I never knew I needed。 The story of Skye and Sidney was so sweet and freaking hilarious。 Like spit out your drink funny。 Laugh out loud funny。 I loved how you really got to see both parent/child relationships。 And watching this foursome become a family was so much fun。 Loved it。 A great addition to the pucked world。

Phew， this was an extremely spicy read。 Skye and Sidney could not keep their hands off of each other。 😏This is a standalone novella and was a quick read at under 200 pages。 I enjoyed it， and honestly， it feels like an origin story for Violet in a way。Definitely pick up a copy of this novella ☺️ I was lucky to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review。

Omg y’all。 This book。 We all know Violet takes the cake with awkwardness and mouth spewing but we see first hand where she got it。 Skye is just as bad。 It’s fantastic！ Sydney I just love him you didn’t see much of his personality in the other books but here he shines through。 I love it。 Of course Buck is Buck and you can expect nothing less。 I loved it there were so many great LOL scenes。 I cannot wait to hear it on audio！ It was a great 200 pages。 Don’t miss it！

This book felt like I was visiting a close friend I hadn’t seen in forever。 Helena Hunting did such a fantastic job of giving us teenage Miller and Violet and see how they grew up （and got quite a few of their mannerisms）。 Sidney and Skye stole the show with their blazing chemistry， Skye’s missing filter， and their ability to be flexible single parents balancing their teenage kids， work， and dating。 Definitely a must read for those who read and loved Pucked。
